Joseph H. Burgis PP, AICP
Joe Burgis has been actively engaged in the field of planning
for over 35 years. He has extensive experience in land use planning, the preparation
of master plan elements, central business district analyses, housing plans,
redevelopment plans, and regulatory ordinances including performance based
zoning mechanisms and site design criteria. Joe has testified on numerous
occasions before local approving authorities and governing bodies, and has been
accepted as an expert in New Jersey Superior Court and New York Supreme Court
in many jurisdictions, as well as the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. He
founded Burgis Associates, Inc. in 1988.

Brigette Bogart PP, AICP, CGW
As a principal with the firm, Brigette
Bogart’s expertise is focused on community and site design
including urban design and downtown revitalization. Brigette represents various
municipalities providing professional planning of development applications and
master plan and ordinance preparation. In the private sector, Brigette provides
professional planning testimony, planning analyses and design development of
site plans for a wide range of project types. Brigette is also a Certified
Grant Writer for the firm.

Edward J. Snieckus, Jr. LA, PP, ASLA
Ed Snieckus joined the firm in 1994 following his
employment with an associated firm since 1985. Ed’s expertise is in design
development, planning and construction document preparation for the firm’s
landscape architecture, site and community planning projects. He is a principal
with the firm and provides professional planning and landscape architecture consulting
services to the firm’s municipal and private sector clientele.

Steven M. Lydon PP
Steve Lydon has over 20 years experience including tenure
as a municipal planning director in the public sector; preparing master plans,
housing plans, redevelopment plans and grant-writing projects. Steve’s
experience also includes reviewing subdivision, site plans and use variance
applications and recognition by New
Jersey courts as an expert in professional planning
In the private sector, Steve’s experience includes planning and development
consultation in the design and analysis of subdivision, site plan,
redevelopment and zoning variance applications.

Donna Holmqvist PP, AICP
Donna Holmqvist’s experience has focused on community
planning and development, transportation planning and fiscal impacts. Donna has
extensive expertise in the preparation of Master Plans, Open Space and
Recreation Elements, Housing Elements and Fair Share Housing Plans. She assists
communities and developers in the evaluation and technical analysis of
rezoning, subdivision and site plan applications. She has qualified as an expert in
professional planning before numerous municipal boards, as well as in Superior
Court and US Tax Court.

Kevin A. Kain PP, AICP
Kevin Kain has been an associate with Burgis Associates,
Inc. since 2005. In his work with municipal clients, Kevin’s responsibilities
include the preparation of housing plans, master plan elements, reexamination
reports, land use regulations, urban design standards, and area in need of
redevelopment studies and plans. Kevin provides planning analyses and
professional testimony before planning and zoning boards for the firm’s public
and private clients.

Sean F. Moronski PP, AICP
Sean
Moronski has represented public and private clients in over 80 municipalities
throughout New Jersey, New
York and Pennsylvania. His land
use planning experience includes master planning, redevelopment, housing plans,
and expert variance and site plan testimony.
Sean has commented on land use issues before professional and civic
groups, and for several media outlets. He
has served on boards addressing economic and downtown development.

David Novak
David Novak began his planning career working for various
nonprofits and community development corporations. Since then, Dave has worked with a wide range of communities
throughout New Jersey,
and has experience in data analysis, geographic
information systems, computer aided drafting, preliminary site design, design
simulations and the preparation of neighborhood and reexamination plans.

Autumn Sylvester
Autumn Sylvester has been with the firm since 2008. As an
associate with a multi-disciplinary background in environmental science, policy
and planning, Autumn began her planning career working for various public
agencies. As a project planner with Burgis Associates, her experiences include
the preparation of master plans, master plan reexamination reports, housing,
historic preservation, and sustainability elements, the review of subdivision and site plan
development applications, redevelopment plans, and land use regulations.

Robyn Welch AICP
Robyn Welch has been with Burgis
Associates since 2004. Robyn’s expertise is on regional planning, housing,
Geographic Information Systems and land use economics. As a planner with Burgis Associates, her
experiences include the preparation of master plan elements, master plan
reexamination reports, community impact analysis, redevelopment plans, and
development regulations. Robyn has provided expert planning testimony on behalf
of several municipal clients.
